Madeira Islands
Also called Funchal Islands, Portuguese Arquipélago Da Madeira, archipelago of volcanic origin in the North Atlantic Ocean, belonging to Portugal and comprising two inhabited islands, Madeira and Porto Santo, and two uninhabited groups, the Desertas and the Selvagens.
